Super Food Salad For Healthy Skin, Detox And Immune System Booster

This salad is easy to make and so delicious!

Beets are high in immune-boosting vitamin C, fiber, and essential minerals like potassium (essential for healthy nerve and muscle function) and manganese (which is good for your bones, liver, kidneys, and pancreas). Beets also contain the B vitamin folate, which helps reduce the risk of birth defects.
Organic red beet salad recipe

- 3 organic red beet
- 3 organic lemons
- 1 cup of organic carrot
- 10 organic blueberries
- 6 organic Raspberries
- 1 organic Cucumber
Was all the veggies and fruits really well. Let it dry for a few minutes. Peel and the red beet and using a food processor chop using the blade, all of the red beet.
For the carrots, I buy them already pre-cut.
Add the red beet, carrots, few slices of the cucumber and the fruits into a bowl or a cup and add the lemon all over it, to add extra vitamins and fabulous taste! I do not use any other dressing on this salad.

Beets are good for lowering inflammation and blood pressure. ... Beet greens packed with important nutrients such as potassium, copper, magnesium and vitamin A, K, and C. They also help to lower risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and stroke.

The alkaline diet is the latest health craze to hit Hollywood. Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Aniston and Naomi Watts have all sung its praises. Anis says she lost weight, had more energy and her skin was not as dry two weeks after embarking on an alkaline diet.

But while the celebs have jumped on the alkaline diet bandwagon, the alkaline diet is not a new concept.

Naturopaths have long prescribed an alkaline diet for optimal health. They say too many acid-forming foods create a breeding ground for disease, while a more alkaline diet makes for a stronger immune system, improved digestion and better skin tone.

The mainstream medical fraternity disputes the theory, saying its the kidneys and lungs that control the pH balance of our blood — not diet. They say the body remains in a slightly alkaline state all the time, regardless of what we eat.

Alkaline forming foods are naturally very high in the exact vitamins and minerals needed for good skin — antioxidants such as beta-carotene and vitamins C, E, and A, omega-3 fatty acids and zinc.
