TCA · The Supporting Acid
Trichloroacetic acid, commonly known as TCA, has a long history of use in chemical exfoliation. But concentration, formulation, contact time, application method and other formulation factors matter.
The presence of TCA alone does not mean a skincare product should be considered a medium-depth peel.
Our current formula contains TCA at a low concentration as one component of its broader multi-acid exfoliating system. Within this formulation, it complements the other exfoliating ingredients to help improve the visible appearance of dullness, uneven texture and discoloration.
